The Iranian Genetics Congress is held biennially by the effort of the Iranian Genetics Association and the participation of scientists active in the fields of medicine, agriculture ( crops, horticulture, natural resources, livestock, poultry, aquatics, honeybee, silkworm) fungi, microorganisms, stem cells, ethical foundations and biosafety. It will be held and include keynote speeches by prominent Iranian and foreign professors, presentation of research achievements in oral and poster forms, holding educational workshops, scientific and specialized thematic meetings, and introduction of successful technologists and start-ups. It has also been tried to provide the possibility of non-attendance participation for those who are not able to attend the conference for any reason.
The congress will be held in the following fields and other topics related to genetics, such as:
- Human genetics
- Agriculture & Plant genetics
- Genetics of livestock, poultry, aquatic animals, insects and other animals
- Microbial genetics & stem cells
- Genetics and genetic resources
- Archaeogenetics & Ancient DNA
- Genetics and ethical, legal and biosafety considerations
Respected professors, researchers, students and interested parties are invited to upload the results of their research achievements in the form of a short article according to the format provided. After reviewing the articles, the author of the article will be invited to present his/her results in the form of an oral speech or a poster. All accepted articles are published in the booklet of the congress and the best articles submitted for publication are introduced to modern genetics magazines and other prestigious scientific and research magazines, so that after a scientific review by the editorial board of the magazine, they will be published with the support of the Iranian Genetics Association.
